History of Television
If I said that we all have magic box in our house than will you agree with me? I know you may confuse regarding your answer. Yes, we all have this magical box in our home called Television. You only need to press a button and it will bring all worlds in front of you by various channels. Television is considered one of the biggest entertaining medium of modern world. You may hardly found few families whom don’t have television today. It is one of the precious innovations of modern science and technology. It has brought the world in our bed room. Because of this precious innovation we can easily get the news of the other part of the world.
Starting from entertainment to live hot news, we can easily get through the Television from anywhere of the world any time. Not only that through the television we can learn several educational things and it has been playing big role in business sector. Manufacturing companies to educational institution all reach their details information to the public regarding their product and service through television. It is very difficult to describe this magical box within few words. I can only say Television is an institution itself.

What is Television?
Television is a system for transmitting visual images and sound that are reproduced on screens, chiefly used to broadcast programs for entertainment, information, and education.
Brief innovating history of this magical box is given below.
Johann Wilhelm Hittorf was a German physicist and inventor of Cathode rays. In 1869, He observed that some unknown rays were emitted from the cathode (negative electrode) which could cast shadows on the glowing wall of the tube, indicating the rays were traveling in straight lines. It was the first clue of the innovation of television.
One of the important parts of a television is tube known as CRT tube today. The earliest version of the CRT was known as the "Braun tube", invented by the German physicist Ferdinand Braun in 1897.
Another person known John Loggie Baird has big contribution in innovation of this magical box. In the year in1878 in England, a Scottish amateur scientist successfully transmitted the first TV picture, after years of work, in 1926, with his mechanical system.
After the hard work of the scientist we got this magical box in the year 1940. In this year television was introduce commercially In the early stage picture was telecast in black and weight mood. By this time researcher worked hard to provide real pic to the viewer’s they were working for color picture.
Although experiments with color television had coincided with the development of commercial black and white television, it was not until the 1950s that attempts were made to successfully launch color television.
The first commercial color broadcast took place at 4:35PM on Monday, June 25th, 1951, when CBS offered an hour-long program entitled “Premiere” to an ad-hoc network of five stations in New York City.
Day by day technology has improved and now by the blessing of modern technology along with CRT TV we have latest technology base LCD, LED and smart TV.
